Hi,

From Who's Who in Late Medieval England, it states that Alice Perrer
(c1345-1400) bore Edward III at least two children: (1) John Southerey (B:
1364-5) He was knighted in 1377 and (2) Joan
Another "Joan" was sired by Sir William Windsor, who she married in 1384.
He was later a baron.
Alice Perrers accumulated 22 manors, lands in 17 counties, and a London
House. She died in 1400, a woman of only moderate wealth, at her home at
Gaynes Park, Essex County, England (Hicks 130)
Perrers was impeached in 1376. Lord Richard Scrope of Bolton (1327-1403)
resided at her trial (1377) (Hicks 135). Others who were impreached were Lord
Latimer and a merchant Richard Lyons (D; 1381) (144).
..........................
E. Hallam's Medieval Monarchs. states that Edward III's physical and mental
decline was symbolized by a senile infatuation with Alice Perrers. (98)
.........................
Hallam's Plantagenet Encyclopedia(156) states that Anne Perrers was "the
daughter of a Hertfordshire knight." Hallam has he marriage to Sir William de
Windsor set at 1366. It confirms that he (Edward III) took up with Alice
after Queen Philippa's death in 1369 and that he gave her royal estates and
Philippa's jewels. Alice was impeached for fraud and corruption in 1374 and
was banished from court. In 1377 Edward recalled her and she qwas said to
have stolen rings from the dying king's fingers.

Edward's legitimate children by his wife were:
(1) Edward of Woodstock, the Black Prince (1330-76) He died in 1485. The
eldest son of Edward and Philippa of Hainault. He was born at Woodstock. He
married Joan of Kent.
(2) Lionel, their third son, married Elizabeth de Burgh
(3) John of Gaunt, 2nd Duke of Lancaster (1340-99) was the fourth son. He
married
(1) Blanche of Lancaster (2) Constance of Castile (3) Catherine Swynford
(4) Edmund of Langley 1341-1402 married Isabella of Castile Knight of the
Garter in 1361 (this title was said to have originated with his father Edward
III)
(5)Thomas of Woodstock, seventh son of Edward and Philippa.

There are eight other children....

Hope this is helpful...
