I wondered about that myself -- the names in his immediate family do seem to
come from later.
This is what I was given:
Sir Alexander Scudamore b 1026 m Jane Catchman, d/o Alexander Catchman, Lord
Troy (b 1005 in Monmouthshire). Alexander father of:
Sir Titus Scudamore b 1052 in Kentchurch, m Joyce Clifford, d/o Robert
Clifford. Titus father of:
Walter Scudamore, Lord Upton Scudamore b 1084 in Wiltshire, spouse unknown.
Walter father of:
Geoffrey Scudamore b 1116 m Matilda Giffard. Geoffrey father of:
Petronilla Scudamore b 1135 in Herefordshire m Robert II de Ewyas

Are any of the above ancestors of Petronilla viable?

Advice appreciated,
Georgia Fleming
