Alais' mother was Constance. Louis' daughter by Adela of Champagne was Agnes;
the subject of a posting a few days ago, she married two Byzantine emperors in
succession, without children, and then a Greek noble named Theodoros Vranas/
Branas/Briennios, by whom she left issue.
