Would anyone be able to comment on the following line (in which I have
no great faith)?

Henry Hatton = Elizabeth Holden (see above)
John Hatton = Joan Westby (see above)
John Hatton = Dionis War
John Hatton = Jane Shute (daughter of Robert Shute Justice of the
Queen's Bench)
Sir Christopher Hatton =
Robert Hatton =
Richard Hatton (died in England 1648) = Margaret ----------
1) Mary Hatton = Zachary Wade

Mary Hatton emigrated to Maryland as a child with her mother and her
stepfather, Capt. Richard Banks.

2) Eleanor Hatton (born Apr 3 1642 in England--died 1725 Charles County,
Maryland = Major Thomas Brooke (born Jun 23 1632 in Battel,
Hampshire--died 1676 Brookfield Manor, Calvert County, Maryland).

I descend from both Mary Hatton and Eleanor Hatton. But their supposed
ancestry has all the hallmarks of the-name's-the-same, especially the
fact that it came with no sources whatever.

Many thanks,
