A wonderful example below of how people can be misunderstood on lists
by selective quoting. For the record:
1. Everything I wrote therein was against any sort of vote.
That was clear, I thought.
2. TAF is wisely against it, and rightly said so.
3. Any voting implies campaigns and manouvering, which equals
propaganda.
4. This medium is open to distortion of messages like no other I know--
except TV, radio, newspapers etc
5. Australians are having a vote in Nov. on what 'republic' may mean for
them.
The pro-republic people would like to remove the word republic from the
referendum question so there can be no misunderstanding.
Enough said?
Am I self-rehabilitated now? I'll never know....
