She went on to say that this comment was made "because sometimes he can be very
helpful" (paraphrased). Basically, what she intended to say was that you seem
to suffer from some kind of cyclical complaint, rather than linear constant
bad-temper. The primary cyclical complaint which is said to cause bad humour
and sniping is PMT. I agree that it's over-used as an "easy answer" when a
woman is bad tempered, but it probably seemed like the most appropriate
suggestion for Renia to make.
