I just went back and checked my sources; bizarrely, they do agree on
Constance's mother being Arsinde/Adelaide (Blanche) d'Anjou, and they agree
on who her parents were.

Unfortunately, the two Williams don't synch up. Once source says William
(Constance's father) is William III Taillefer (947-1037) Count of Toulouse,
son of Raymond III of Toulouse.

The other source says William (Constance's father) is William I of Arles
(950-994), Count of Avignon and Arles, son of Boso II of Provence.

The first source is the LDS Ancestral File; the second source is an
extensive royal genealogy on www.gendex.com.

Quite puzzling...
