There is a detailed table at the end of H. Wolfram's _A History of the
Goths_, with a discussion of the sources. The Amelunge go far back, but
the Baltunge are restricted to a few uncertain generations before Alaric,
which he gives (speculation) as the son of Alaviv.

(I wrote him on that matter; the great Spanish Encyclopaedia makes Alaric
the son of one Badengaud, without specific sources, but Wolfram told me
that he knew nothing about it. As for Theoderic/Theodorid, his name is
very suggestive of an Amelung relation, but I can't see how that would
be.)
