Thanks very much for sending the additional information by priavte email which you
have found on the internet. Sadly none of this changes any of the facts. That part
of what you sent which appears in Wurts changes nothing as it is a flawed work.
Your gateway ancestor is Thomas Hardy of Ipswich, Rowley and Bradford. His
biography can be found in _The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England
1620 - 1633_ by Robert Charles Anderson, (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical
Society, 1995) volume II, pp. 858-61.
His ancestry is UNKNOWN. That he is shown as a son of a Virginia family has no
foundation with known facts. All of this other ancestry, correct or incorrect, is
not relevant.
In addition to the above, please consult _The Ancestry of Samuel Blanchard Ordway
1844 - 1916_ by Dean Crawford Smith (Boston, 1990) pp. 280-8. This gives a complete
account of Thomas Hardy.
