But the direct answer to the question is this: as far
as I know, among the reigning kings and queens of western
Europe, there was only one death attributable to the plague.

Now it is true that the sample is small, but it is complete
so there is no sampling error at all.

I realise that the assertions, supra, are imprecise and very badly
