Why do you feel the need to be sarcastic? Certainly my tone has not
been thus. Language does change over time so that a definition from 100
years ago is not the same as today. That shows no disrespect to past
authorities, it's just the way language works. But 1983 is sufficiently
recent so, as I said (and civily, I might add), I must bow to the
authorities.
