I suspect it is Phillimore's Will index which, for some dioceses, ends in
1858, although the earliest I can see is for 1536 not 1484, so if it is
Phillimore, it must be supplemented with something else, or I have just
missed it.
There is a nice collection of old deeds and some will extracts at "The
Irish Genealogical Research Soc", London called, I think, The Hussey-Walsh
collection. If any Londoner is looking for something to do, it would be
good to see this on CD or on line.
