Heraldry: bar sinister is a bend or baton
sinister held to signify bastardy; a hint or proof of
illegitimate birth. Arthur C. Custance, Ph.D,
stated "while they preserved intact the line of
the Promised Seed, [they] did not in themselves
prove worthy to be remembered in it." Please,
do not be boorish. A bastard is one not genuine,
debased and corrupt; by definition, to bastardize.
