Hmmmmm.

At least five children, four daughters and a son, with Joan.

Many folks are descended from him ---- including a gaggle on this
newsgroup. Poor bastard. He died a miserable death. But so did Edward
II.

Yes, Maud Mortimer did marry Lord Cherleton. But he appears to have
been the 2rd rather than the 3rd Lord, according to David Faris.

Browning is not particularly highly regarded on this newsgroup.

Faris I has John Cherleton as 2nd Lord Cherleton and feudal Lord of
Powis.

Maud Mortimer and John, 2nd [according to Faris] Lord Cherleton are
reportedly the 11th Great-Grandparents of General George Washington.

That fellow just keeps popping up everywhere.

| Can anyone enlighten me on the children of Roger Moritmer, 1st Earl de

Charta

It lists

| Thans for any help.
