The connection from the Hildyard family to Richard Jackson is correct. These
Hildyards already have established royal descents. The question would remain
to prove your American Jacksons went through Ireland and descend from this
Richard Jackson.
Ursula Hildyard, daughter of Richard Hildyard of Routhe in Holderness,
Yorks.,
by his wife Jane, daughter and heir of Marmaduke Thweng, married Richard
Jackson of Killingwold by license in 1596 [Clay, Dugdale's Vis. Yorks.
3:333].
So concentrate on the family of this Richard Jackson of Killingwold.
