Tymothy Fenn obtained 300 acres in Isle of Wight County on 10 October 1642 [Va.
Patents 1(2):840] for the transportation of six persons, two by himself and two
by his assignee Symon Cammock. One of these six persons was an Edward Dale.
How do we know that this was not the man later to marry Diana Skipwith and who
perhaps married another woman as a first wife? Mr. Ward's argument from the
use of Diana's maiden name in December 1655, which I have verified, has not
been answered.
