might i suggest a little surf.
use http://www.alltheweb.com select the exact phrase option and pop in
the term "war of the roses" i drew over 9000 hits. i have found a list
of the battles with brief descriptions. a list of the main players in
the wars..both sides and brief description of who they were and why
they wanted the throne.
i also found idiotic sites for tourists to "time travel" back to the
battles, photographs of re-enactments of the battles.
surfing the net when practiced with common sense and discernment will
turn up scads of information.
cheers

The short answer is that he feared all close relatives (nephews, first
cousins
etc) of Edward IV and Richard III - potential leaders of a Yorkist
revival -
and to soem extent close relatives on the Lancastrian side. He didn't
risk
landing in 1483 despite reports that Buckingham's rebellion had
succeeded -
with his own forces scattered he would have been in just as much danger
from
Buckingham as from Richard
I'm not sure that an algorithmic list is either possible or helpful.
The two
sides (well two at least) would have disagreed sharply about what such
a line
should be
