Sir Thomas Molyneux, Irish Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1590, married a
woman from Bruges, between 1558 and 1568, whose name is variously reported
as Katarina Stabeort or Stabcort, or Salaboerte or Flahaut. Her father was
a burger of Bruges.
