It escapes me at the moment as to who mentioned it, but the supposed
authority on the Carew family is Mrs. J. A. C. Richardson of London.
She wrote an article published in the SOG _Genealogists' Magazine
[September 1999] called "The origin pf the Carews--an update."

Although it does not give a complete descent as it skips generations,
she clearly lays out the various branches descending from Walter
FitzOther: Mohun's Ottery, Beddington, Castlecor, Cork, Haccombe,
Antony (Cornwall), Bury St. Edmunds and so on.

I will send you her address by private email. The article states she
will be happy to answer questions for those sending an SASE.
Otherwise, I have not seen your Alice.
