Hello,

According to R. F. Tapsell in Monarchs, Rulers, Dynasties and Kingdoms of the World (London:
Thames & Hudson Ltd., 1983), p. 281, Tokhtamish, Khan of the White Horde and the Golden Horde (d.
1398) was a descendant of Orda in the following manner:

1. Tokhtamish (d. 1398)
2. Unknown
3. Chimtai, Khan of the White Horde (d. 1361)
4. Ilbasan, Khan of the White Horde (d. 1320)
5. Sasibuqa, Khan of the White Horde (d. 1315)
6. Bayan, Khan of the White Horde (d. 1309)
7. Kochu, Khan of the White Horde (d. 1302)
8. Orda, Khan of the White Horde (d. 1280)

This line is extended two more generations of page 452:

9. Unknown
10. Chingis Khan, Khan of The Mongols (d. 1227)

So, in short, Tokhtamish is the tenth generation descendant in the male line of Ghengis Khan.

Sincerely,
Kelsey J. Williams
