You are in error. I do not own SGM. USENET Newsgroups in the "Big
Eight"
cannot be "owned" by anyone other than David C. Lawrence (or whoever is
"tale" these days).

See http://www.faqs.org/ for some understanding of what USENET
Newsgroups
are and how they work.

well, then WAR, are you the offical maintainer of the news group known
here as sgm?
you maintain the FAQ page
at: http://www.erols.com/wrei/faqs/medieval.html

i do see a similiarity with the webpage addie and your email addy:

a John Woodgate appears to have maintained it in the past. his FAQ page
is
http://www.woodgate.org/FAQs/meta-faq.html

so..do you WAR, maintain SGM, or does Woodgate or does someone else. is
it an individual or a consortium who is responsible for maintaining
SGM?

as THE individual who maintains the SGM FAQ page, i can think of no one
else who could give a clear and direct answer as to who "owns" SGM.

"owns" being used with full recognition that the word is incorrect..it
is being used in comparative to saying taf and don own
gen-medieval..rootsweb owns gen-medieval. taf and don co-administer it.

therefore, who "owns" SGM?
