Barbara,

The details of the disproof of the Crixie Harris line will be in the second
part of the article on the origins and new royal descent of the Virginia
planter John Woodliffe. The first part of the article is in the issue of TAG
just going to press now.

I am awaiting a Chancery deposition from England that I hope will help with the
Hoare ancestry, which is from the same neighborhood as the Woodliffes
(Aylesbury and Great Missenden, Bucks.). John Woodliffe's daughter was living
with Captain Thomas Harris and his wife Adria when the 1624/5 muster was
recorded, when she was called their 'kinswoman.'

To me, the details of the life of the father of the immigrant John Woodliffe
are fascinating because he was duped by the same people involved with the
murder of the playwright Christopher Marlow.
