Maria married Count Pedro Ponce, and was ancestress of the Ponce
de Leon, while the male line became Cifuentes.

There are two conflicting sources - one calls her daughter of
Bernard Roger of Foix, the other of his siter, the Countess
Ermesende, wife of Ramon Borrell. I have not looked closely, but
have been told that the first of these is late, and so the second
is the more likely (this is the same source that marries her to
Roger de Toeny).
