Hello James,
Do you have any more dates associated with the Leigh/Lay line ?
I have a Margaret LEIGH of Shropshire (daughter & heir of ____ Leigh)
who married William THORNTON of East Newton, Yorks (d 1545)
per Glover's Visitation.
They were ancestral to the Wrights of Yorkshire &Virginia . St. Leger
descendants were neighbors/friends/cousins of the Wrights in Colonial VA.
