** You get back to an honour system, for if I tell you I have a
degree, how do you know I am telling you the truth? Is the moderator
going to search university and college records to confirm every such
claim?
And what is your definition of published author? A magazine article, a
booklet, an academic tome? How do editors fit into that?
I think it might be simpler to have all members of the forum vote for
a jury, that being those whose contributions to the forum have most
respect, and let them decide on the matters of concern.
