Pelayo did reportedly die in 737 A.D. ---- a stalwart.

How is he supposedly linked to Teresa de Castilla [c.1070-1130]?

Teresa de Castilla, by some accounts, is actually an illegitimate
daughter of Alfonso VI, by his mistress,
Ximena Nunia de Guzman. [AR7 Line 112:24] (Moriarty).

Perhaps that is where this purported link to Pelayo originates.
