Loony posts that say:
"Screw the copyright laws! If you post stuff here and don't expect it
to be stolen, just don't post it!" ----
Just prevent many fine, substantive, genealogical posts from ever being
sent to SGM/GM.
And those of us who have been reading here for years have seen the
stream reduced to a trickle.
I wouldn't even *consider* posting some of the sorts of things I did in
1996 and 1997-1998 ---- _Ahnenreihen_ and long, interpretative posts
that took hours ---- or even days ---- to compose.
Many other folks have obviously taken the same tack.
We Are All Losers Because Of The Selfish Attitudes Of A Few Dataminers
"I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study
mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and
philosophy, geography, natural history, naval architecture, navigation,
commerce, and agriculture, in order to give their children a right to
study painting, poetry, music, architecture, statuary, tapestry, and
porcelain." John Adams, (1735-1826) Second President of the United
States. Letter to Abigail Adams, his wife, 12 May 1780.
