Thanks Peter and Chris. I read the archive item and learned quite
a bit. I still tend against any credible ancestry for Basil I except
his mother Pancalo, but I see now why other ancestors have been
proposed, and what the reasons were. Chris does a great job of
presenting all the arguments, pro and con.
