Dear Kay,

My apologies, I did send an email to the List requesting Malinda's sources, but we are having server problems or something on several Lists, some bounce back, some don't, some arrive hours later. Very frustrating.

Yes, thank you, your answer is quite satisfactory. I certainly didn't mean for it to be a challenge, but I do think that when there are disagreements it helps the rest of us to better understand and follow along when sources are mentioned. I'm learning a lot!

Regards,
Sarah

Dear Sarah,

Perhaps I missed your issuance of the same challenge to Malinda's "Learned Cousin"?
If you wish to compare sources, you really have to ask her also. Especially from someone who mentions a marriage to a
person whose very existence is questionable. :-)

For FitzWalter, CP V; Farrer, Honor & Knights Fees II; VCH Essex; and VCH Hertfordshire. The date of birth is calculated
by subtracting 21 from his coming of age 1240.

For Camville, Coss, Lordshops, Knighthood, and Locality; Farrer, Honors & Knights Fees II; William Salt 1911; CP III;
George Andrew Moriarty Notebook XVI at the NEHGS; VCH Oxon.

I hope that this is satisfactory and that you will find it elucidating and edifying. I didn't include pagination, because
I assume you could find it in the indexes.
