<I am just pointing this out to show that I did not invent this. However, I am
not sure that the Ericjames site is the source of this mistake. It is possible
that we both got this from another common source.

It is, at this point, irrelevant who invented the connection. It has obviously
been around for a while.
The point now is that it is a clearly false connection. It is not possible for
the Virginia immigrant to have the parentage you have put on your website and
at Rootsweb World Connect. The immigrant's parentage is, at this point,
unknown. No link should be given for parents.
It would be proper to have no link to parents - as they are unknown - but
provide notes that state though some people claim that parentage, you now know
the reasons why it cannot be.
