I had noticed that there were a lot of people who were "done away with" in my
lines.
I think some of the difference between murdered and killed is a matter of
semantics. If a person thinks the "doing away with" was the thing to do,
perhaps killed is the word used. If you were the victims buddy, you might
call it murder.
To me assissinated leaves a political overtone.
