Dear Leo,

An interesting subject, concerning subjects or their
monarch. I agree with Gordon and Peter, as one man's (or
woman's) assassin is another's avenger, a clear distinction
between say murder vs. assassination may not always be
achieved for all readers.

Perhaps some other terms could be introduced which would
be applicable in specific cases:
