I have long been aware of the Walker-Warren parish register entries. But I had not known of Augustine Walker's will. These records taken together make it virtually certain, I think, that we are dealing with Richard and Elizabeth Warren of the Mayflower.
Do you have a citation for the will, and the date of probate? Does the will name a wife? Augustine Walker married, obviously as a second wife, Mary Stringer at Great Amwell on June 27, 1597.
A Richard Warren was baptized at Ware, Hertfordshire, on A ugust 16, 1579. Ware and Great Amwell are adjacent parishes.
As far as I know, none of this has been published. I sent the parish-register evidence to the Mayflower Society some years ago, but they showed no sign of interest.
