Interestingly the above reference is posted for each of the Gournays.
And it is better known to most of us as "The Early History of
Mapledurham" by Dr A H Cooke.
Curiously there were two, otherwise identical, publications of this
book at the same time. One was, indeed, the ORS Vol 7 with the above
title. The other was published by the Oxford University Press with the
same title. Both were printed by the OUP. I have copies of each.
