I wonder how many people are so silly to do that. I think people should try
to find as many ancestors as possible and IF they find a link to nobility or
royalty---that is just a bonus.
I think it is great if they find one, not because royalty or nobility is
"better", but because those are often better recorded and you are able to
trace them back so much further.

I believe, and I may well be wrong, that most Caucasian people are descended
from royalty but the proof in most cases is missing. For many years I have
been collecting data, I have "from Australian Aborigines to Roman Emperors"
in my system but I have given up many years ago any expectations to find a
'royal' link for myself, and I don't care.

If all goes well, and I do not see any reasons why it shouldn't, and with
the hard work of two other people (I sit back and enjoy it :-) I hope that
my data base, by then over 400,000 entries, will go on to the Internet and
hope that this may help many others with their search.
