Dear Cris,

If Chris P.'s lead works out, this will put the Ansketil
in question well out of the Bessin, although that proves
little (we know Normans knew how to sail, and swim...) .
To get from say Bayeux to the dept. Seine-Maritime, you
would need to Channel your efforts and thoughts carefully;
the only other choice, you would be in Seine.

Just something to Manche on.
