convention of marriage between Philippe, the King of France second son,
future King Philippe III, ans Isabelle, youngest daughter of King Jaime I of
Aragon, were included in the treaty of Corbeil dated 11 May 1258 (Layettes
du Trésor des Chartes, vol III, n° 4433-4435). Papal dispensation was issued
on 1 December 1258 by the Pope, and the actual wedding took place on
Whitsunday May 28, 1262 (J LE GOFF, Saint Louis, Paris, 1996, p 737).
