Marvelous!
This appears to be a plausible candidate for the Nicholas Browne who was
the father of Frances Browne, who married Richard Washington, son of
Lawrence Washington and Margaret Butler Washington of Sulgrave Manor,
Northants, at St. Martin-in-the-Fields in 1627 ---- which is not to say
he's the right one.
