Why do I think these Russian crackpots made this stuff up?

Because instead of scholarship and historical research, they decided
to try make there names with crazy theories.


And also, why do so many people lavish praise on Chinese inventions
(real or fake).
I strongly believe the British have been the greatest inventors, but
they recieve no such widespread fawning.
