You are amalgamating a few things together.
While there was a false priest who is scorned in the Dead Sea Scrolls, this
person fits more closely to one of the priests of the temple.

That Jesus was killed for sedition is a hypothesis based on his crucifixtion
and some of his and his followers rebellious activities
