According to SP, Christian was a dau of Robert Arbuthnot (d before 11th
Jan 1506) and his 2nd wife Mariota Scrymgeour (d 1518).

Christian married Alexander Fraser of Durris, the source for this is
Macfarlane, ii, 322)
