Sorry, but this is OT. These are much earlier Whipples than I have. Could
you tell me please if they are the ancestors of Elder John Whipple born
about 1617 in England and died 16 May 1685 presumably in Masachusetts. He
had a daughter Sarah who was baptised 3 Nov 1641 in Salem, Massachusetts,
and married Henry Short Jr. of Newbury, Mass. in 1674.

Ok, I am confused. Thought I knew who my Whipple branch involved, now I am
not sure.

This is what I have
William Hill born c1543 md to Joan or Jane Annabel born c1550
dau of John Annable b 1517-1527 md to Anna Whipple born c1522
dau of Matthew Whipple born c1495 md to Anna Hawkins
son of - from here I do not know.

I have found a Matthew Whipple married to an Anna Hawkins but all the dates
from here are about 100 years off. Where did I mess up?
