Nat, if you want to work on this one as well, go right ahead.

I suppose the following M.I. is important as well (from Manning-Bray):

vol. 2, p. 574-75:

Sanderstead -- "On a black stone on the floor: In memory of George
Mellishe of Sanderstead in the countie of Surrey Gent. who departed
this life upon Ascension-day being the 4th of May 1654, of whom the
monument in the wall speaks more fully."

The wall monument mentions (in Latin):

--George Mellish, citizen and merchant of London, son of John Mellish,
citizen and merchant
--first wife, Katharine, daughter of Richard Clarke, citizen of London
--another wife, Mary, daughter of Henry Kinnersley of London,
merchant, widow of William Baker of Swindon
--children Henry, Daniel, Anne, Mary, and Rebecca
--buried May 10, 1654, aged 73 years

Perhaps Anne was the wife of Joshua Pordage? Remember that George
Pordage's daughter was named Hannah.
