in order to achieve a better fit with chronology, I would hypothetize that there was a large bunch of siblings, of whom the alferez (/merino mayor) Rodrigo Gonzalvez de Ceballos was one.
List of those siblings, in my hypothesis:
Rodrigo Gonzalvez (fl 1161, possibly deceased before 1183) - his sons included Alvar and Gonzalvo
Pedro Gonzalvez (fl 1183)
Elvira Gonzalvez (fl 1183), m de San Ciprin
Ines Gonzalvez (fl 1183)
Santzia Gonzalvez (fl 1183)
possibly: Diego Gonzalvez (d prob bef 1203) - his daughter was Teresa (fl 1203), m Melen
possibly: Gonzalvo Gonzalvez (fl 1205)
------------------------
However, these two (who should rather be a separate family), if brothers, cannot imo be grandsons of Rodrigo Gonzalvez:
Diego Gonzalvez (d prob bef 1203) - his daughter was Teresa (fl 1203), m Melen
Garzea Gonzalvez (fl 1203)
It would fit nicer, were Teresa (and her brothers) cousins of Garzea's late father.
I have a suspicion that possibly, there is no 'nephew' term there in the 1203 document, meaning Teresa, and her cadre of brothers.
That possibly, the nephew has come as mistaken extrapolation from 1206 document mentioning brothers Garzea and Diego, Diego probably being younger in that set.

imo, Gonzalvo Gonzalvez suits culturally better to been youngest brother, born perhaps about 1180, rather than anyone's eldest child.
