there are dodgy things in the currently claimed lineage of countess Sanzia Fernandez:

Alvar Rodriguez, whom Genealogics currently reports as her paternal grandfather

was, I gather, actually one of those Castro brothers, whose uncle was a guardian of the child king Alfonso VIII of Castile, but who all got on the bad side of the Lara, usurpers of many lands and much power in Castile; and the Castro brothers found a new life in the kingdom of Leon.
alvar apparently was the one who succeeded to marry the dowager queen Urraka Alfonsis 'the Asturian', widow of king Gartzea VII of Navarre - she was the natural daughter of countess gontroda Perez.
I am not familiar about facts whether this Alvar Ruiz held Tovar or not. Or even whether Tovar were in the jurisdiction of the then kingdom of Leon, as opposed to Castile.
Neither am I aware of testimony whether Urraka and this Alvar had progeny to continue to the present day.

Then, Fernan, the father of countess Sanzia Fernandez, is currently in Genealogics made to be Fernan Alvarez de Tovar

and conatrued to be son of said queen-dowager Urraka and Alvar de Castro.
I am not aware whether such precisely-so-named person lived in those days (presumably in some of last decades of 1100s), nor whether such a man held Tovar.

Also it would be nice to know, who inherited Tovar in these days and after these.

Countess Sanzia Fernandez obviously married her husband, the count Froila Ramires, sometime in the 1190s.
