We can be a bit more clear about his birthyear because not only was he
"flourishing" in 1702, but in that year he himself was curator for the
insane 2nd Baronet.

As curator I doubt that he was ten years old or something. Most
likely he was already at least a late teen (16 or older) and probably
over 21.
