Thomas Cockayne who married Judith Halfhide is said in an MI at Soham
to have died 30 Jan 1737 [1737/8?] "in his 74th year", thus putting
his birth year at approximately 1663/4. Thomas his father was
baptized 18 March 1618 and thus would have been about 45 at the birth
of the younger Thomas - not unreasonable.
