Indenture between William Taylor the younger of Hereford, Esq., devisee named in the will of Thomas Pritchard late of Corke Street in the parish of St. James's, Westminster, Esq., deceased, Catharine Carpenter of Hereford, spinster, one of the daughters of Thomas Carpenter late of Tillington, Herefs., Esq., deceased, Thomas Carpenter of Hereford, Esq., and William Bird of Hereford, gent., being a settlement previous to the marriage of the said William Taylor and the said Catharine Carpetner of the Manor of Barterton otherwise Bartington, Cheshire, a messuage and farm, a farm, several tenements lands and appurtenances within the said Manor; the Manor of Arrow [Arrowe], a messuage and farm, 12 cottages, lands and appurtenances within the said Manor. Witnesses: Eliza Carpenter, Thomas Tringham. Seals. Consideration: £800.
