Hello,

This is my first posting to this list and I am hoping someone will have a tip
to pass along. I see that posting surnames here and on other lists is the
"thing to do" in order to get lots of feedback, but I am finding that having
to retype the descendant info is not only redundant, but time-consuming.
Does anyone use or know of a good way to make "surname templates" to be
used in email posting, without always having to retype the outlines for EACH
post? Thanking you in advance.

P.S. I freely admit I have been lurking on this list for a couple of weeks,
as was suggested before "jumping in". I must comment, however, on how
surprised I am to see how "large" the discussion has become on the list
purpose/joke issue. If we had truly seen as many jokes posted as discussion
about them, maybe there would be something to complain about. ;)
