For all interested:
To preserve newspaper clippings, add 2 teaspoons of milk of magnesia to
1 quart of club soda and mix it well. Soak your clippings between 2
pieces of screen (I use lightweight interfacing from the fabric
shop...it's cheaper. Let it soak for about 1/2 hour, then remove it
from between the screen (or whatever), drain all the liquid, and place
it on blotting paper with a dry screen over it to keep it from curling.
Store it in a non-petroleum bag or in acid paper. I have mine in
freezer bags.

Hi!
I would appreciate any suggestions on ways to preserve both old and new newspaper clippings.
Thanks!
